Hi Everybody,

Well, Roger and I have been in Fargo for a week now, staying at Grandma’s house.  It has been loads of fun and I have been getting spoiled by both Grandma and Aunt Patti!!!  (Even after I managed to dump over 2 of Grandma’s houseplants in the first 2 days…and making quite a mess…good thing Grandma loves me…)

And there are lots of other dogs here too. Patti has two dogs, Jake and Linus, and Grandma has one dog, Cooper.  (With many thanks to Aunt Patti for the below portraits of my new friends.)

Aunt Patti and her dog Linus have been taking Roger and I out to lots of parks for long walks in the morning. Linus is about my age and we have become great buddies!!!   Here Linus and I are lounging in the grass during one of our walks.   Most of our walks have been along the Red RIver (and I love rivers), but unfortunately it is very muddy and Roger didn’t want me tracking any more dirt into Grandma’s house (see reference above about the houseplants…), so no swimming in the Red for me.  🙁

On Saturday, Patti took us to Buffalo River State Park in Minnesota. Here are Linus and I riding to the park in Patti’s car (the TV commercials about Subaru’s being great for dogs are so true!!).

Linus rides in the rear and I got the whole back seat to myself. Not quite as much room as the van to stretch out and sleep but I could see much better out the windows and there is lots of new things to see here.

Here is the forest along the Buffalo River where we were going for our walk.   Lots of green grass and trees and bushes and another RIVER!!!

The Buffalo River wasn’t muddy like the Red River so Linus and I got to swim and play all we wanted (well maybe not ALL we wanted…but a long time anyway).
